When Josh Flaster first came to the pool for captain's practices in fall 2004, people figured he was lost. Unable to play football due to a retarded back (injured discs), the Yale men's and women's teams made Josh feel at home and inspired him to go faster - as they were all faster than him. His competitive nature didn't enjoy being beaten, but his times dropped all last year, and he hopes to continue that trend this season.
Josh will look to contribute this year in sprint freestyle, and butterfly. His hobbies are finger painting, crochet, and playing the cello.
