At Germantown Academy: A four-year letterman in lacrosse, Washabaugh earnd all-league honors during his junior and senior seasons and was noted as a Pennsylvania Senior All-Star in his final campaign... His lacrosse team advanced to the state playoffs in each of his four seasons, moving into the final four in his freshman and senior years... In addition, Washabaugh was a member of the 2001-02 basketball team that won its league championship and achieved a national ranking... He recieived the Osbourn Memorial Medal for scholarship and athletics as a sophomore...
