Played for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in the BCHL where he had a 18-10-0 record in 30 games and posted a .894 save percentage... In 2001-02 he skated for the Taft School in Waterbury, CT and was the first player in the school's history to be a member of the varsity team... Made Dean's List at Taft...
