During his sophomore season at Yale, Sean rowed seven seat in the JV eight that won a silver medal at Eastern Sprints.

At Saint Ignatius High School, Sean letter in crew his junior and senior years, and was the team captain his senior year. He was also awarded the prize from top oarsman in the school. Sean also won a number of accolades in Midwest regionals as part of his high school crew team.

Sean is a senior in Branford College majoring in Anthropology. He also enjoys reading, writing and swimming, and has worked as both a lifeguard and swimming coach. His brother Patrick is on the crew team at Rutgers University.
