Program Information

YOUTH LEARN TO ROW: Open to all boys and girls ages 10-17. No registration fee required. Limited to 32 participants per session. Once full, each session will be removed from the website as soon as possible, but there may be instances where a registrant is waitlisted. Please select only one week and register for the correct age group.

Registration priority will be given to youth living in lower Naugatuck Valley communities and the New Haven area.

Open to youth 12-16 years old:
1. June 30 - July 3
2. July 7 - July 11
3. July 14 - July 18
4. July 21 - July 25
5. July 28 - August 1
6. July 28 - August 1

7TH AND 8TH GRADE PROGRAM: This three week program is ONLY open to boys and girls who have taken the Youth Learn to Row program and will be entering grade 7 or 8 in the Fall of 2008. Limited to 45 participants. Dates: June 30 - July 18.

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM: Open to boys and girls enrolled in high school who have taken last year's middle school program or have at least two years of rowing experience. Regular attendance is required. In order to accommodate the ever increasing interest participants may register for only one of the two sessions. Limited to 48 participants per session.

1. June 30 - July 11 (focus on developing boat skills / less competitive)
2. July 14 - August 1 (focus on fitness and racing)

ADULT LEARN TO ROW: Practices start at 6:30am and run for 75 minutes. Limited to 32 participants. Dates: June 30 - July 3.

$50 registration fee must be mailed separately to:
